Seniors Services
University Settlement was designated an Elderly Persons Centre in 2009. Our Seniors Services offers a variety of programs and services to seniors living within the community. Programs include regular Tai Chi and fitness classes; special interest groups such as Cantonese opera, Chinese dance, and calligraphy. We also offer daily supportive counseling, information and referrals, form-filling assistance, and educational workshops relating to health, elder abuse awareness, safety issues, and other matters of interest to seniors. Seniors can also enjoy regular social networking events such as birthday celebrations, day trips and festive celebrations.
Our languages of service include: English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

Senior Programs
University Settlement Senior Services Department offers a wide range of recreational and cultural activities to seniors 55 and over. We welcome new members for our following classes:

We also offer Tai Chi, Tai Chi Chi Kung, Tai Chi Fan, Line Dance, Karaoke Singing Time and Table Tennis Time to seniors. Participants are required to pay an annual Agency Membership $5 (60 and over), or $10 (under 60) and a Senior Club Activities fee $10.
Our Senior Services Department also provides form filling, information and referral and interpretation for seniors on a daily basis from 9:00am to 5:00pm. To better serve you, however, we appreciate you make an appointment with our Senior Services worker. All senior programs and services are offered at 23 Grange Road only.
